Staircase

While the house has a full basement the only way to get to it was to go outside and in through the garage door.  Considering the winters we have here that's just not a good option especially with the remodel and numerous trips back and forth to the shop so a staircase was mandatory.  In order to save space we went with a spiral staircase and Sally found one on Craigslist for $400 that was exactly what we were looking for.  It was pretty heavy but Sally and I managed to get it in place by ourselves.
