Kitchen

The kitchen was a major undertaking.  I decided to build the cabinets and design them such that they are unlike anything anyone has seen before.  The base wood is knotty alder with the panels and handles made from walnut.   About the time we moved to Steamboat was when Sam Maloof passed away so I wanted to build a kitchen that would honor his contributions to the woodworking world.  I'm also going to add barstools along with table and chairs that follow his style.
